ATTITUDE

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me is more important than facts.

It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company.....a church......a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past.....we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...

I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our Attitudes."

i can't believe i just realized this post was here....hours later...ugh! what a punk i am....
It's true, the quote, of course!and you know what, it's even more important than the quote portrays....it's the butterfly effect.....whichever attitude we embrace, can totally affect everything...the quote says you cannot change how people will act or the inevitable (i am paraphrasing)but YOU CAN! Everything is possible, nothing is inevitable, you change your attitude, you can change your world..and the way you react can be like the butterfly landing on one's shoulder...setting off a chain of events that would otherwise not happen, had you not reacted in that particular way....
People react to your energy, and by the energy you put out, you allow or disallow things to be. not only is life 10% the happening, and 90% the reaction, but the 10% is a result of previous reaction...and you can always change that....always! now..and now...and now!!

ok i am such a rambler. phew
